The schedule page of a live class displays information related to events of the class that have been booked by the students. The schedule page provides information that is needed to run the class effectively by the teacher in one easy-to-use location. It also provides information on the past occurrences of the class. The goal of the schedule page is to make it very easy for the teacher to run and manage their live class. The schedule page provides the following information to the teacher:
- Day, date, and time for all of the upcoming events of the class.
- Information on how many seats are booked and available.
- Location of the class including web conference dial-in information.
- A summary of the availability of students for each event including if they will be attending the event, or maybe attending the event, or will not be attending the event.
- List of students enrolled in each upcoming event of the class.
- The ability to cancel an upcoming event of the class or the complete class (if applicable).
- Detailed information on the completed and canceled events of the class.
All the scheduled events/slots/occurrences are also included in the "Schedule" page of your school, and also on the "My Schedule" page of the students.
Once you have completed the basic information of the class, added the pricing, submitted the class for approval, set up the events for the live class, and have students enrolled in your class through the sales page, you can view the booked events of the class on the Schedule page.
To view the schedule for the class, navigate to the list of Live Classes for your School, click on the class that you want to edit, and then click on the "Schedule" tab, as shown below:
The schedule page is customized as per the schedule type of live class. Next, we will describe the features available on the schedule page for each of the three live class schedule types: recurring schedule, one-time schedule, and fixed schedule live classes.
Navigate to the respective section:
Recurring Schedule
Once you click on the "Schedule" tab of your recurring class, you arrive on the schedule page where the list of scheduled events for your class is displayed, as shown below:
The schedule page is organized to provide a high-level summary of all the published events of the class. In the image shown below, the teacher has published three events for booking.
For each of the published events, you can find information including the time of the event, the teacher's name, event start, event end, event location, if the event is still available for booking ("Enabled"), seats booked, and seats available, as shown below:
You can click on the title of any of the events to view detailed information about each of its occurrences, as shown below:
The detailed schedule for the event named "Beginner Level Class for Ages 12-17" is shown below:
A partial list of students along with the option to view the list of all the students enrolled in the event is displayed. You can navigate to the "Students" tab and view detailed information about the student by clicking on the student's name or by clicking on the "view all" link, as shown below:
The occurrences of the event are organized by upcoming, completed, and canceled occurrences. The image below shows all of the "Upcoming" occurrences for the event of the class.
A summary of the availability marked by students is shown. For example, for the occurrence on "Saturday, May 12", three students have their availability marked as "Attending" and none of the students has marked their availability as "Maybe" or "No", as shown below:
You can view the list of students who have marked their availability as "Attending", "Maybe", and "No" by clicking on the respective links. For example, the screen below shows the list of students who have marked their availability as "Attending".
You have the option to cancel an occurrence of the event by clicking on the "Cancel" button, as shown below:
The cancel option will result in the cancellation of the respective occurrence of the recurring event. In case you want to pause new enrollments for the recurring event itself, you can do so by disabling the "Enable" option under the events tab of the class.
You can view information on the canceled occurrences of the event by navigating to the "Cancelled" tab, as shown below:
You can choose to re-take an occurrence after cancellation by clicking on the respective "Take" button, as shown below:
Once you click on the "Take" button, the respective canceled occurrence will then appear back within the list of your upcoming occurrences of the event.
The "Completed" tab provides detailed information on the past occurrences of the event, as shown below:
At any time, you can navigate back to the list of all the scheduled events of the recurring class by clicking on the "All Scheduled Events" link, as shown below:

One-Time Schedule
Once you click on the "Schedule" tab of your one-time schedule class, you arrive on the schedule page where the list of booked slots for your class is displayed, as shown below:
The schedule page is organized to provide a high-level summary of all the booked slots of your one-time class. In the image shown below, students have booked two of the slots of the one-time class.
For each of the slots, you can find information including the start time, end time, teacher, and availability, as shown below:
You can view the list of students who have marked their availability as "Attending", "Maybe", and "No" by clicking on the respective links. For example, the screen below shows the list of students who have marked their availability as "Attending" for the "Wednesday, November 3" slot.
You can click on the "Details" button to view detailed information about the slot, as shown below:
The detailed view provides additional information including the location, seats booked, seats available, students, and the status of the slot, as shown below:
You can navigate to the "Students" tab and view detailed information about the students by clicking on the student name or by clicking on the "View all" link, as shown below:
The default status of any slot is "On", as shown below:
You can cancel the slot by clicking on the "Cancel" button, as shown below:
Pressing the "Cancel" button notifies all the students of the slot about the cancellation. The action also issues a refund to all the students of the slot, if applicable. For one-time scheduled classes, there is no option to restore the students for a canceled slot. As an alternative, the students can rebook the slot through the sales page of the class. As a result, you should exercise caution when using the "Cancel" option.
You can view the list of all the canceled slots in the "Cancelled" tab, as shown below:
You can view detailed information on any of the canceled slots by clicking on the "Detail" button, as shown below:
The "Completed" tab provides detailed information on the past slots of the class, as shown below:

Fixed Schedule
Once you click on the "Schedule" tab of your fixed schedule class, you arrive on the schedule page where the information on the fixed-schedule class and its events is displayed, as shown below:
The schedule page first provides summary information including the location, seats booked, list of students, and the status of the class, as shown below:
You can navigate to the "Students" tab and view detailed information about the student by clicking on the student's name or by clicking on the "view all" link, as shown below:
The default status of the class is "On", as shown below:
You have the option to cancel the complete class, including each of its events, by clicking on the "Cancel" button, as shown below:
Pressing the "Cancel" button notifies the students about the cancellation of the class. It also disables new bookings for the class. Canceling the class issues a refund to the student for the class, if applicable.
For a fixed-schedule class, there is no option to restore a canceled class. The only way for you to reorganize the class will be to create a similar new fixed-schedule class. As a result, you should exercise caution when using the "Cancel" option.
The schedule page is organized to provide a high-level summary of all the scheduled events of your fixed-schedule class. In the image shown below, there are 4 scheduled events for the class and there are three students signed up to attend the class.
For each of the scheduled events, you can find information including the date, title, start time, end time, teacher, and availability marked by students, as shown below:
You can view the list of students who have marked their availability as "Attending", "Maybe", and "No" for each of the events by clicking on the respective links. For example, the image below shows the list of students who have marked their availability as "Attending" for the "Content Building" event.
You have the option to cancel one of the events of the class by clicking on the "Cancel" button, as shown below:
This cancel option results in the cancellation of the individual events of the class.
You can view information on the canceled events by navigating to the "Cancelled" tab. The "Cancelled" tab provides information on all of the canceled events along with an option to take the event again, as shown below:
You can choose to re-take the event after cancellation by clicking on the "Take" button, as shown below:
Once you click on the "Take" button, the respective canceled event will then appear back in the list of your upcoming events.
The "Completed" tab provides detailed information on the past events of the class, as shown below:
Attendance of Students
You can mark the attendance of students for a "Completed" event of a Live Class under the 'Schedule' tab. Click on the 'Detail' button, as shown in the images below. Any event of a Live Class goes into the "Completed" state as soon as the event starts. All attendance will be available only under the "Completed" tab. Thereby, attendance cannot be marked till the event starts.
Example of a One-time schedule Live Class:
You can mark the attendance of a student by selecting 'Yes' or 'No' and it will reflect under the 'Attendance' section, as shown below:

You can mark the attendance of a student by selecting 'Yes' or 'No'. Click on 'More' to see a complete list of students attending the class, as shown below:
After you have marked the attendance of the students, it will reflect as shown below:
Once you mark the attendance of your student(s), the concerned student(s) will receive an email notification, as shown below:
