A certificate of completion gives a sense of achievement to the learner. As a teacher, you can issue a certificate for your Recorded Class to your student(s). While creating a certificate format, if you would like to preview the final layout of the certificate, you can do as detailed below.
Ensure that you are logged in to your LearnDesk Account on LearnDesk (https://www.learndesk.us), as shown below:
Under the 'Teach' menu, navigate to the 'Recorded' section, as shown below:
You will see a list of all your Recorded Classes (Saved, Approved), as shown below:
Click on the class for which the certificate is to be issued on completion. For instance, we have selected the 'Introduction to Data Structures for High-Schoolers' class to view the certificate preview. On clicking on the class name link, you will be directed to the 'Overview' tab as shown below, click on the 'Basics' tab:
Click on the 'Basics' tab and scroll to the 'Certificate' section, as shown below:
For certificate preview, ensure you have enabled either the 'Automatically on completion' or 'Manually on completion' option and have provided details in all required fields, which are:
- Certificate Issuer School Logo - Image to be provided which gets stored as School storage and can be viewed under the School Media
- Certificate Issuer School Name - to represent School Name (Teacher or Company or as appropriate)
- Certificate Issuer Name - to define Issuer Name
- Certificate Issuer Title - to define Issuer Designation
- Certificate Title - to represent the course and the learning of the class
- Certificate Achievement - information to reflect on the certificate
Click on the 'Preview' button as shown below, to open the preview in a new window:
Certificate preview will appear, as shown below:
