Video is ready when you have completed the Basics, have added Media files and included Pricing. Now you are ready to submit the video for approval. Before submitting the video for approval you can also validate the contents of the video to ensure completeness.
Validate - Basics, Media and Pricing
To ensure that you have filled all the required fields of your video, you can use the validate functionality. The validation process checks for required fields and also if you have set the pricing of the video. If validation is successful, you should be ready to submit your video for approval.
To validate your video, click on the "Validate" button located on the bottom right of the page from the Basics or Media or Pricing tab of your video editor.
In case of issues encountered while validating the video, the validation messages should be visible on your screen.
Submit - Basics, Media and Pricing
Once you have completed the information in the video basics, media and pricing tabs, and have validated the video, you can submit your video for approval. Click on the "Submit" button located on the bottom right of the page from the Basics or Media or Pricing tab of your video editor.
You can also submit the video for approval from the Overview tab of the video editor.
Once submitted, it can take up to 2 business days for a video to be approved. You will be able to resume editing of your video after the video has been approved or a revision has been requested from your end.
Revision Required - Basics and Pricing
Once you have submitted the video for approval, the LearnDesk approvals team will check the video for completeness, accuracy, and run additional checks. If any issues are found, the approval team will provide feedback and submit the video for revision. Feedback on your video appears next to the sections that need changes.
Once you have made the required changes, as per the approvals team recommendations, you can click on the "Resolve" button located next to the review message, and save the video. Next, you can validate the changes and submit the video for approval.
Approved
Once a video is approved, the status of the video changes to "Approved" as shown below:
